Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven
Punk artist before the word existed, Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven seems to have been artistic fuel to Marcel Duchamp’s creative achievements. Her work is maybe even more influential to the modernist art than Duchamp’s although she never became nearly as famous for it.
Some source indicate that even Duchamp’s Fountain was an idea actually stolen from Elsa.
