Charles H. Traub
American, b. 1945, Louisville, Kentucky, photography
Charles H. Traub photographs everyday street life in saturated, ironic color, catching strangers mid-gesture as if the moment had staged itself. A student of Aaron Siskind, he moved from black-and-white Chicago vignettes into color early, and has spent decades proving real life needs no invention.

Via PanAm
A few days ago I re-viewed the Vía PanAm project from Kadir van Lohuizen. The Dutch photographer documented a journey from the very south of South-America to the most northern point of the American continent, crossing 15 countries. The project of the trip of 40 weeks is a great piece of work. The images, the video and the texts work perfectly together.
I had the original iPad app on my iPad 1 (or so) but it does not seem to work on the newer versions of the iPad. Fortunately there is the Via PanAm in which the app is simulated.
