The Addams Family
After at least twenty years I re-watched The Addams Family (it’s on Netflix now). It is still a remarkable and original movie, with its goth culture and nonchalant black humor. Morticia Addams played by Angelica Huston; probably her Magnum Opus.
I guess the movie has become a classic.

Howl’s Moving Castle – by Hayao Miyazaki
Wonderful anime by the master of the genre Hayao Miyazaki, founder of studio Ghibli.
Earlier I watched Castle in the Sky and the Spirit Away, enjoying these very much. The movies have a strange threatening atmosphere without becoming horror. Yet the movies combine a darkness with a playful touch.
Miyazaki’s movies are now viewable on Netflix.
