Maleficent 2 is somewhat rougher than the first Maleficent episode.
Bad queen Michelle Pfeiffer ruins the wedding of prince and princess in order to gain power over the Moors and destroy the fairies inhabiting that land.
Maleficent overcomes her dark heart again and turns the queen into a goat.

Finally, 35 years after the fact, I watched the beautiful movie Out of Africa with Meryl Streep and . Not sure I can explain what the movie is about. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.
I would say it is about nothingness as the meaning of life. Which not a bad motive either.
Lady marries the wrong brother, who has other interests than his wife, but succeeds in transferring syphilis to her. She falls in love with a man that does love her but dies too early in a plane crash.
But she keeps going proudly.
You can now watch Blade Runner 2049 on Netflix. I watched it last week and found it an unexpectedly good movie.
I had never watched the original Blade Runner, but now I had become curious about that one. Last I watched Blade Runner with our own cult actor Rutger Hauer.
What a great film! I understand now why Rutger Hauer got his reputation from this movie. His acting blows away even Harrison Ford as main character of the movie.
I am a little bit into gardening these days. The guy helping us is also a photographer (and he likes The Velvet Underground).
We talked about how we liked wild flowers in the garden. He referred to Piet Oudolf, who I found out is a very famous Dutch garden designer. I had never heard of him.
We talked more. The gardener told me to look at Oudolf’s High Line project in New York. For the abandoned High Line, Oudolf designed a ” wild” garden with a natural look.
This reminded me again of the photographer Joel Sternfeld, who in 2000 made wonderful pictures of the High Line. His pictures were influential in the decision to repurpose the High Line after it was abandoned and turn it into a park. The park for which Oudolf was a co-designer.
